The
Twenty-Third Century
Free
International University for
Peace
In
Santa Ana, El Salvador we have
celebrated the fifth session of the Free
International University for
Peace, Twenty-Third Century.
We come together once a month, from 9-3 PM to study
subjects of relevance rooted in personal, local, national, and
international efforts. The purpose is to contribute to the
creation of
a just world, responsible and respectful of human rights, of the
convention of the economic, ecological-social and cultural rights
of
the peoples, and for the care of mother earth. As part of this
experience, we share a meal together, a contribution to the
understanding and practice of the slow food movement, which rescues the
values of traditional, nutritious food, the principles of food
sovereignty and security, which are basic principles of a culture
of
peace.
